Despite my best efforts, despite pouring over player guides and forum advice, each of my companies has ultimately run at a loss. Why is this? Many companies in Torn have also experienced this, and, having made my observations over the past year I have come to wonder whether the reason for this trend is that a) Torn citizens have become too greedy, or b) Torn's company directors have become too generous? sugarvalves [1963573] — It has been nearly three weeks since we saw the release of Sector 1 territories, and in that time there have been some rather interesting developments which may have passed non-faction affiliated citizens by. In fact, if truth be told, these events have passed me by too, as even the most fascinating territorial battles can fail to register if you aren't directly involved. When I returned to see how territories was unfolding I was surprised to see Milk and Cookies , JFR and JFA occupying the financial district, with other factions having been ousted not long ago according to the forums. It seems the island has been conquered multiple times by different factions in recent weeks, and there are whispers that both SA and JFK are looking to partner up with others shortly for a renewed assault on Torn's prime locations. Detective [1557351] — Which is the best faction in Torn? It's a question I have often asked myself, as no doubt have many others. But is this something you can quantify? And if so, what are the criteria? Some would say " JFK, no doubt", however, in which fields are JFK #1? Do Subversive Alliance come out on top in any categories, and if so, which are the most important in determining Torn's top faction? To attempt to answer this I took several days last month to compile some very detailed statistics about many different fields related to faction success, and in doing so, I've come across some rather interesting information. Not only have I discovered who are the most loyal and wealthy, but I've also found out which faction's members have the highest average number of awards, respect and trades too.
