Over the past few days city inhabitants received the seasonal newsletter. Its pages reveal some of the changes that came with the RESPO update, and some of the upcoming changes and fixes to roll out in the near future.

The newsletter provided much insight into the happenings and plans for the city. From things already implemented, like racing 2.0, to changes that are coming in the future, such as Black Jack. However, amongst the changes taking place, attacking and the Busting Nerf piqued the public’s interest the most.

The new attacking system, as we're told, will revolutionise how we assault each other in the streets of Torn, and will no doubt make beating fellow citizens to the ground much more exciting and invigorating. Group attacking may see some of those that were previously unbeatable, beaten, and being able to see others who are attacking the same victim will hopefully lead to more interesting battles and outcomes.

The second is the “Busting Nerf”. The level of crime in Torn is ever on the increase, and you would expect the jail to overflow with lowlifes and the criminally inept; however, in the Torn jail you will often find more guards than inmates. Whether you believe that busting is too easy or that the competition has increased, a city filled with crime should be accompanied by a city jail rife with criminals too careless in their endeavors. Currently, many Torn citizens spend hours in search of inmates to bust or bail, often their patience is fruitless. The Torn jail saw better days, and it will see a change and resurrection to its former glory. Busting will become more intricate, according to the newsletter. Requiring more selectivity on who you bust, and who you don't.

The changes gave rise to much debate in the city, but more importantly, a nice 850 energy boost makes everyone happy... for now.
