For the next article we are going to be heading to the beach, so put on your speedos and bikinis. Long have players sat watching Itsi Bitsi Bikini members running around in their skimpy beach ware, and wondered what they do in their exclusive beach club, and now we shall find out.
Itsi Bitsi Bikini was started by Pinky_Bikini [343323], and the number of days she has spent in the faction represents how long Itsi Bitsi Bikini has been around. The name was chosen as a bit of fun:
"Imagine a faction gang wearing bikini and speedo chasing you down the street."

Itsi Bitsi Bikini were ranked around the 2000 mark when the ranking system came in to place. The faction was built on the idea that weak members could stick together and ward off stronger factions. They didn't start climbing the ranks straight away, instead practised chaining and working together to get stronger. Whilst honing their skills, they found that other stronger factions declared on them, and to their surprise they were able to fight back and in some cases win. This gave members a lot of confidence and they started to take part in more ranked wars.
Whilst moving up the ranks they got more respect and got involved in more interesting wars, but they found that they were ranking up too fast. As a general rule, the higher the rank your faction is, the more attention you draw when warring. Even though Itsi Bitsi Bikini wanted these more challenging ranked wars, they didn't want to draw too much attention. However, they were gaining around 100-200 places ever couple of weeks in order to find decent ranked wars, and in doing so were gathering aggro. So they swapped from ranked wars to normal wars for a time, and moved their way up contesting more ranks rather than skipping them. They did eventually challenge some of the HOF factions, and found they won more than they lost.
It is well know that Itsi Bitsi Bikini reached the faction respect cap, 532,269 (approximately), a long time ago. It has been around 18-24 months, or more, since they reached it, and other factions are still not even close to achieving the cap years on. An impressive point is that Itsi Bitsi Bikini are not known for having the strongest members. However, even without a bunch of stat monsters they caused all sorts of problems for faction and reached the respect cap. They have always had the principle of the faction being a safe haven for low stated players. Leaf_Bikini says they simply reached the cap by chaining hard and getting the odd big bonuses from winning wars. They had weak stats but had the numbers and activity. A war cycle would typically last 3 weeks and they would manage to rack up between 30,000-50,000 respect.
Some may still find it hard to believe how IBB got to the cap so quickly. Other may say it is easily done if factions put their mind to it, but if so, why has no other faction replicated this achievement? Till faction 2.0 is released they are happy to chain, with some members moving to a separate faction to chain a little. There is no doubt that with over 500,000 respect ready to spend, they will likely have an edge over other factions once the faction update is released. But will they be lazy and sun burnt after so long without any action?
