Back to the hall of fame where we will see what we can learn about Evolution.
Evolution was created some time in October 2012, I was unable to narrow it down to a particular day. It was the resulting faction from a merge between two HOF factions, Bad Ass Mother F**ckers (BAMF) and Random Acts Of Violence (RAoV). SlickRick [654393] and JimmyJames [581165] ran BAMF, Todd [63384] and Scott [97570] ran RAoV. Puscifer [61736] and JimmyJames then took the main lead of the newly formed Evolution. The merger took over one year to finalize and complete, and happened largely because BMAF and RAoV were good friends even before the merger, and the two factions complimented each other quite well. RAoV had the stat monsters and BAMF had the chaining stamina, and these are two ingredients you need to make a chaining machine; chainers that never stop, and big hitters too keep the other faction in hospital.
BAMF was created in October 2008. They were involved in many wars, and the one where they really showed their worth was the war with HT. Although they lost the war, by holding their ground, they showed that they were a powerful faction that would not back down at the sight of a battle they were likely to lose. BAMF has feuds with Art Of War (AoW) and PT-Family, but the wars that resulted from these feuds proved to be the most enjoyable with neither side prepared to surrender.
Evolution were a formidable force in the Hall Of Fame for a long time, but they hit a little bump on their journey. That isn't to say that people shouldn't be weary whilst walking on their turf. Evolution and PT-Family had planned to merge into one faction, mainly because they wanted to make sure they were able to compete with likes of JFK and SA when the new faction updates are released. However, after a lot of planning and discussion between the two factions it didn't go through. There were a couple of possible reasons why the merger didn't go as planned; some members not wanting to move between factions, different leadership styles, the fact that both factions had long histories they didn't want to give up. They did actually manage to agree on terms, but by this time both faction were reaching maximum capacity, which didn't leave much room for merging. Internal problems in Evolution also led to a leadership changes, and the negotiations done to that point were lost. Both factions were tired of merger talks and decided not to pursue it any longer. Contrary to what some people believe, Evolution and PT-Family parted ways on good terms. Of course many of the details of why the merge came about and way talks broke down will not be known by player outside of the two factions inner circle.
After the failed merger Evolution's numbers, and strength, reduced substantially. Again there were a few potential reasons for this, but most members left on good terms. According to some members, the leaders had different ideas for where the faction was going and an argument or two down the line some members felt that the family atmosphere of Evolution had gone, and so left. Others just wanted to try something new.
Of course, different members will preserve what happened with Evolution around the time of the almost merge with PT differently, but I have found that the majority of members still loved there time at Evolution and had things gone slightly differently, they would still be there today.
At the moment Evolution seem quite happy to relax and enjoy the game, whether they will rise again only time will tell. And whether a come back is even possible, with many of their members spread out across other HoF factions, may leave Evolution on a slow road to extinction. However, at their peak Evolution was defiantly a force to be reckoned with.
