Torn's most grotesque looking citizens are encouraged to emerge from their hovels and show off their ugly mugs, with a special unique item on offer for ten lucky winners.
Are you sick and tired of all that brazen nudity on show in the Mr and Ms Torn competition? No, me neither. But it can be quite wearisome to see wave after wave of attractive people getting more upvotes than you. I mean, that's what I hear anyway. I personally wouldn't know about such things. People upvote me in the street. At least I think that's what they're doing.
Nevertheless, if you were born with a face only a mother could love as a friend and nothing more, then you'll be glad to know that Leslie Chanthavong's I Hate Mr and Ms Torn competition is back. This contest is to Mr and Ms Torn what the Paralympics are to the Olympics; a chance for the less fortunate yet equally heroic to show what they're truly made of. And this time there is a unique item on offer to those who place in the top five; a wearable paper bag item as suggested by the most honourable moderator Grif.
In case you missed it last year, I Hate Mr and Ms Torn seeks to find the most grotesque looking people in all of Torn City. Participants are encouraged to make themselves look as weird, ugly or downright bizarre as possible, with Torn-relevant themes and creativity encouraged over nudity. Hence, the following motto has now been adopted by the competition:
Get your wits out for the lads
Nudity was also discouraged in last year's contest, but that failed to dissuade some entrants from shedding their clothes anyway - who can forget Coral's gaping-wide misinterpretation of the rules. Thankfully, the moderators stepped in and made Coral edit his entry, and yet somehow this made it worse, as our imaginations led us on a merry dance down the deepest, darkest rabbit hole one could ever hope to imagine.
2017's winner was Carp thanks to the delightful image below:
Pictured: Carp's deliciously hairy thighs are not sexual organs, so please do not send him unwanted romantic advances.
To explain more about the morals behind this contest and the very special prizes on offer, here is our resident Spin the Wheel operator Leslie with a few inspiring words.
"I wish I was dead. I have self esteem problem after look for so long and hard at all so sexy boys and girls of Mr Ms Torn. I need you make Leslie feel better by show off how you have face as ugly as your personality. Leslie likes it when you are clever and it is picture seem like things in Torn too. I give ten paper bag as reward to best pictures, five to mans and five to womans. I am so sad. Make Leslie happy."
Translation: Make yourself look as weird and grotesque as possible, and you could be one of ten winners of an exclusive, wearable paper bag item. The competition will run for two weeks as of today, Friday 27th of July, ending at midnight on August 10th. Multiple entries are allowed, but each submission must contain your username and the words Choke Me Leslie somewhere in the image. Good luck and God bless.
