Four of Torn's top 15 factions form anti-JFK alliance. Non-aggression and mutual retaliation pacts said to be in place.
Relentless co-leader Hank has informed the Torn City Times of a brand new alliance consisting of four major Hall of Fame factions. This agreement means said factions are no longer permitted to attack each other, and each bound to respond towards acts of violence against any of its members.

The Alliance wishes to announce its formation through the following video:
As viewers of the above will have noticed, the alliance is made up of factions ranked 15th or higher in the Hall of Fame respect table, including Relentless (1st), Subversive Alliance (8th), Chain Reaction (11th) and Forged Through War (15th). It is not known whether the number of Ninja Turtles dictated the number of factions to be allowed into the alliance, but thanks to Relentless co-leader Hank, we do know what the purpose of their union is - the complete and utter destruction of JFK.
Hank told the Times that the seeds of this alliance began to grow when JFK and its members interfered with other factions' wars and business which had nothing to do with them. The first such incident occurred in 2014 when Relentless (then known as Calculating) saw their war with Trigger Happy derailed by JFK involvement.
JFK's members are reported to have broken Relentless chains and frequently insulted their members in the years since, and these actions have also been inflicted upon the likes of Subversive Alliance and Forged Through War, whose animosity towards JFK goes back even further. Chain Reaction also had some issues with JFK despite once being part of the JF family under their former name Just Fer Chillin'.

JFK's brazen aggression towards both rivals and supposed allies has now become too much for these four factions to stomach. And as Hank explains, there is a mutual agreement that an end to JFK's hegemony is in the interests of all Torn City, not just the four allied factions.
"Acts of aggression against any of these factions will be met by aggression from our alliance. Internally members of this alliance are also no longer allowed to attack each other, except under strict circumstances such as Elimination. So being a member of this alliance affords members protection from some of the most active and vile players on Torn."
Relentless' co-leader also thinks that the announcement of this alliance will force other factions in Torn to pick a side. He feels that being part of this fight will be "as fun and stressful as any event Torn has seen", adding that "there will be a lot of money to be made for revivers, traders and bounty hunters." Hank goes on to suggest that the forthcoming fight could last months as the allies move westwards across sector one, and he notes that the effects of this battle will inevitably involve everyone in Torn, regardless of their allegiance or participation.

"There has been a long-held desire by many faction leaders to dethrone JFK as the top faction in Torn. However when you war JFK you also end up warring their allies (MnC + MnC2, PT-Family+ PT-Calc + PT-Iron Hearts, JFA + JFA 2.0) and JFK 2.1."
"The only way to dethrone JFK is to defeat their entire alliance. In order to do this, we must be able to fight them in a fair and logical way, that is having similar total members and support available (eg. revivers & boosters). They have had a stranglehold on this game for years and years and we think Torn City as a whole has seen enough."

"The terms are pretty few, we feel that a whole lot of terms are not necessary when you have a like-minded group of teams that just want to make the game playable for everybody again. We are sick of feeling like we cannot test ourselves individually in territorial warfare without risk of it evolving into another game-wide war."
Hank believes that JFK will respond to this announcement by laughing off their challenge, before begging, borrowing and stealing every player they can get hold of to help maintain their dominance of Torn City. He notes how JFK have previously rewarded loyalty from their players and allies with places to leach upgrades, or gifts of prime sector one territory. Hank presumes these things will likely be offered to the 10 to 12 factions currently thought to be allied to JFK, and in response, they will be expected "to do their dirty work for them."Relentless' co-leader also thinks that the announcement of this alliance will force other factions in Torn to pick a side. "Both sides have huge arsenals of dirty bombs, so we expect there to be a few weeks of constant radiation poisoning to affected areas of the map! We know this is going to be an arduous, uphill battle, but we just hope the citizens of Torn City can see why it finally has to be done."
"We're hoping Ched has added some interesting mechanics with the dirty bomb re-enablement, which will make dropping them extremely strategic and requiring careful planning. If he has, it's going to make the skies dark, and the ground radioactive, and hopefully raiding a hell of a lot of fun."

Pictured: Fun.
In a recent interview, Chedburn announced that raiding and dirty bombs would be enabled sometime in December. I have had it confirmed from the very top that we will likely see both of these activated at some point from mid to late December, just in time to light up the city with a combination of tinsel, baubles and radioactive dust. I can also exclusively reveal that for altogether different reasons, December 12th may prove a bloodier day than usual if this war begins beforehand. Additional information on this will be provided in due course.
For now, Torn City must wait with bated breath for the outbreak of the first major battle between this newly-forged Alliance and the hordes of JFK associated factions. The Alliance claims their imminent plans are to form a movement to liberate Torn City and restore some competition and excitement to this game. To achieve this, Hank hopes that others will soon respond to their rallying cry, and reject the overtures of JFK and her allies.

"The only way to beat a great team is to become a great team, and even though the odds are rather stacked against us, we are going to stick together, and hopefully people will see enough merit in our cause and motives to get behind us and support our alliance."
"It's been 2 sides only forever in this game, and we hope one of the things we can do is change that, that's why we welcome any group or individuals that have had enough of having to pick one side or the other to join our movement to make the game playable for everyone."
