Torn's bloodthirsty citizens are encouraged to travel to South Africa this weekend, as the city of Johannesburg is set to offer bonus rewards to anyone who helps reduce their invasive tiger population. This event hopes to build on the success of a similar death-drive back in 2018 when scores of these magnificent beasts were slaughtered in cold blood, with a $20,000 bounty once more on offer for anyone who manages to murder Tony the Tiger and his carnivorous chums.

Tigers are not typically native to South Africa, but in recent years a handful of the beasts have been introduced into nature reserves up and down the country. In 2018, a large colony of tigers escaped their enclosure and began to roam the outskirts of Johannesburg, leading to Torn citizens being drafted in to slaughter the escaped creatures with the permission and gratitude of the South African government.

Increased security measures across the nation's reserves meant that a similar breakout was deemed unlikely to happen in future. However, in March of this year, an incident on the set of a Die Antwoord music video shot at a Johannesburg reserve caused a female tigress to become so distressed that she chewed her way through a heavy-duty electric fence. It is now thought there are several hundred tigers on the loose around the rural edge of the city, and due to the horrific scenes they witnessed on set, many have developed a taste for human groins, with over 400 victims found gored between the thighs to date.

As a result, Torn citizens have once more been invited to South Africa to help cull the escaped tigers, with $20,000 on offer for each one shot dead. To further sweeten the deal, Torn citizens will be assisted on the hunt by experienced marksmen, whose knowledge and expertise will help boost their hunting skills at a rate five times faster than usual. The bonus applies to all hunting activities within South Africa - not just tigers - and this fantastic offer will apply from noon TCT on the 28th of July through to noon on the 30th.

Many tigers were seen praying, getting their affairs in order and ticking items off their bucket list ahead of their imminent death at the hands of Torn citizens. But if you're new to our city and you want to take part in this event, you'll have to put some hours in at the hunting lodge beforehand. Citizens must be level 15 or over to travel to South Africa and take part, and once there, it will cost you ten energy and $500 for every hunt in which you participate.

There are three levels of hunting session on offer, those being beginner, standard and advanced. The amount and level of the animals you can kill depends on your hunting skill level, with the likes of tigers, elephants, and gorillas only available to advanced hunters. But even if you're a rank amateur, the five-times hunting skill bonus on offer this Sunday will prove worthwhile on its own, helping you to increase your hunting skill and progress towards big game hunting in no time.

Citizens are encouraged to purchase Business Class Tickets for their trip as soon as possible, as these items will reduce the typical 3hr 43m flight to Johannesburg down to just 1hr 29m.

Go get em, Tiger.

tl;dr: Hunting experience gains are boosted by five from noon on the 28th until noon on the 30th.
