$1 bazaar sales to arrive on 29th of Friday. Participating sellers listed in article. NPCs to offer big ticket items. Extra sellers wanted. Donator Pack offered for participating Bazaars.
Following a successful debut in 2018, the Black Friday event will return next week on the 29th of November, with a plethora of consumables, collectables and miscellaneous trinkets set to be offered by various bazaars at a $1 price throughout the 24-hour event. Whether you're a seller or a customer you won't want to miss out on this exciting one-day sale, as it offers consumers the chance to grab a bargain, and sellers the opportunity to bring in new business to their stores!
Black Friday worked out pretty darn well last year, hence why I've decided to bring it back. We’re still in the process of filling up slots with bazaar owners that want to drive more traffic to their bazaars, so help us to celebrate American Consumerism day either by signing up as a bazaar owner or shopping on November 29th. Every participating bazaar owner has been assigned a one-hour slot to sell their $1 items during the day. If you view the forum thread here you can see that several slots are still available. However, if you can't make any of the remaining times, we've started offering half-hour slots too. So if you'd like to take part, please contact me, Kata, via the forum or DM today!
Participating sellers have a lot to gain from this event, as while you have to have some items listed at $1 in order to take part, not everything in your bazaar has to be so cheaply priced. Anyone who comes along to buy your $1 items will undoubtedly want to check out what other crap you have on offer, making this an excellent opportunity to get some extra sales under your belt.

Furthermore, the Torn City Times is paying out one Donator Pack to each of the bazaar owners who take part and meet certain criteria. To be eligible for this gift, you must have registered with me, Kata, before the event starts and sell a minimum of 20 items at $1, with the items in question being worth at least $10 million in total. This criterion will be judged according to the current average value of the items at the time of sale - if you're only out by a bit we aren't going to stiff you. To receive your Donator Pack, please send Sugarvalves your relevant item sale events after the event has finished.
In order to give everyone a chance and combat scripters, bazaar owners are encouraged to sell their $1 items in batches throughout their time slot. However, even if this fails, I have been assured that another secret feature of Torn will stop them in their tracks. Anyone who appears to be using scripts to take advantage of Black Friday will also have their names passed to the other sellers and will be banned from making any further purchases from any of the participating bazaars.
It is hoped that this event will be as successful as last year when we managed to fill each 24-hour slot with an individual bazaar seller. 2019's sellers have offered all sorts of fantastic goods already, with Donator Packs, drugs, plushies and boosters all up for sale throughout the day. And if they both manage to stay out of the hospital, both Duke and Leslie are reportedly set to offer some huge items for sale at $1 between 1 pm and 3 pm!
