The Torn Horoscope is back! Every month, we use real Tarot Cards to predict how your month in Torn City will unfold based on your star sign. If you don't know your star sign, then you can find out which one it is by referencing the date ranges given below.
Without further ado, here are my predictions for the month ahead.
Aries (March 21 ~ April 20)
Queen of Wands
Whether you're a prince or a pauper, Aries will feel a keen sense of satisfaction by the end of May. If you're planning to grow something, be it your networth or your battle stats, now is the time to do it. Don't shy away from being aggressive in your pursuit of glory, for even if you become bold and outgoing, you will not lose touch of your sneaky side. If you have a dilemma in your Torn life right now, a question with a yes-no answer, your response should be YES.
Taurus (April 21 ~ May 20)
Temperance XIV
May is the month when Taurus starts to experience balance. There may be parts of the game you have not paid attention to, such as crimes, or crime-based merits, which you will become involved in during the next lunar cycle. You may not know where to start and how to begin, and it will be a bit stressful at first, but focus on the outcome and you will succeed. Be careful to avoid any extremes, however, such as drug crimes, as this will sway you from your course. In short, I'm telling you that the month of May is the best time to start using your Nerve bar.
Gemini (May 21 ~ June 20)
The World XXI
Congratulations! There seems to be a lot to celebrate for Geminis in this month of May. It is time for some of your long-term projects to come to fruition. Killstreak? Battle Stats Cap? 10-star company? 500 merits? HOF achievement? Getting a loot from Papa Duke? (finally!) If you have not quite reached this point of completion, then you are very close! If you're not there, then you're a disgrac--I mean, you're not taking all the necessary steps to get there. So catch up this month!
Cancer (June 21~ July 22)
Eight of Pentacles
It looks like Cancer will be working hard this May. This is the best month to improve your skills and become a master at what you do. If you're working hard but it's not leading to the desired outcome, like a 10-star company or not getting enough profit on your trading, it's time to take a step back and see if you're focusing on the right things. Find a root cause. Shout out to our graphics people who are under the sign of Cancer: Don't be too focused on creating perfection as when you focus on every tiny detail, you'll lose sight of the bigger picture.
Leo (July 23 ~ August 22)

May is not the time for Leo to try something new -- you'll probably get distracted. Moneywise you're in for an upswing though, as those bets you've put in are likely to return with a bonus! This is a great time to switch your merits to banking (if you haven't yet) as you'll finally be able to put something in for long term financial security. It might also be a wise time to get that stock ticker and start playing around with stocks too. Be mindful of your medical cooldown though, as you're bound to face hospital time from all those muggings.
Virgo (August 23 ~ September 22)

I have five words of wisdom for Virgo: Stay. Away. From. The. Casino. That's it. That's all you have to do this May. You're bound to have some financial hardships in the near future, which could range from simply not having enough liquid cash until your next bank investment income, to needing to sell the private island you live in because you literally have no savings. Be very careful with money this May. It's a brief period of bad luck but this is why I'm here to warn you. Stick to trading for now, but watch out for buy muggers and cancel muggers too.
Libra (September 23 ~ October 22)
Two of Swords
Libra will be faced with difficult decisions in May. Perhaps it'll be something simple like betting to go all-in on a two-pair card in poker. Or maybe you'll be forced to contemplate leaving your faction for greener pastures. It's all about give and take. No matter what you end up doing, remember that you'll be the one to deal with the consequences too.

For Sagittarius, the month of May is bound to be a month of nostalgia. A friend from the past is coming to greet you! However, keep in mind that the term "past" is relative. It may be a long inactive friend, maybe even your spouse, logging in to say "Hi!". Maybe someone from your first faction from years ago has just recognized you and wanted to catch up. Or perhaps it's that noob from last week messaging you to see if you're buying defends again. If could even be that trader from two days ago asking if you have new plushies, or if you've used your 100 item purchase in the city already. Either way, a familiar face will return to your life.

Don't set unrealistic expectations for yourself. Torn is a game where the difference between one person and another is exponential. While you may be tempted to set a target, be careful you don't set yourself up for failure by setting goals that are significantly out of reach. You might get easily excited by an achievement thread about reaching the top 100 stats, or having the 1000+ forum Karma. You don’t have to match other people's goals. Stay true to what’s important to you.
