$45 billion-valued destructive item to be sold at auction in ten days time. Further Christmas auction details announced.
In a move which is set to shock the city in the most literal way possible, Duke has decided to add a little festive glow to the holiday season by auctioning off a Dirty Bomb this Christmas.

Duke’s Dirty Bomb auction will take place via the Auction House and begin at 00:00 am on Tuesday the 22nd of December. The auction will run for exactly ten days, ending at the stroke of midnight on Thursday the 31st of December. Duke will be auctioning off two other nuclear-themed items at the same time, with a Hazmat Suit and a rare Toy Reactor being put up for sale alongside his weapon of mass destruction.

Duke’s henchman Jimmy is also auctioning a handful of items on the 22nd of December too. Jimmy’s trio of rare treats will include a Snowflake, an Elf, and a set of Dual Samurai Swords. These items will be posted shortly after The Duke’s are put up for auction, but will be scheduled to end at the same time as this absolute bastard of a year comes to a conclusion at midnight on the 31st.

The value of a Dirty Bomb has rocketed in recent months, with one such device known to be on offer for a massive $45 billion by an unknown seller. For context, $45 billion could buy you 78,947,368 crazy straws, 53,571 Xanax, nine Donald Trump Masks, or one hundred stat enhancers - unless you're buying them from iribuya's bazaar, in which case you can buy a lot more.

According to the networth Hall of Fame, only 730 citizens in Torn City can afford the likely asking price of Duke's Dirty Bomb, unless Evil-Duck secretly made a whole heap of cash in fed selling his ham flower to Big Keith on East Wing. But with players' networth calculation including many non-liquid assets, the pool of potential buyers for the Dirty Bomb is likely to be much smaller - possibly less than 100.

Whoever buys the Dirty Bomb may be encouraged to hold off from using it just yet, given that the city was hit by a Dirty Bomb just recently. On Thursday, an unnamed member of an unnamed faction devastated JFK with a DB strike. We at The Times have identified the attacker, but this person has not yet given us permission to reveal their name.

It is rumoured that several more Dirty Bombs are to be set off this Christmas by unknown agitators, so Duke’s auction is your one and only chance to get in on the radioactive action - if you have a few billion to spare.

tl;dr: Duke's Dirty Bomb auction begins 00:00 am on Tuesday 22nd of December.
