Two new specials added to Lingerie offerings. Company profits boosted. Revamped firm set to attract importers, nudists, and cheapskates.
The Directors of Torn’s few remaining Lingerie Stores have received a boost today with the news that their companies have received a major upgrade.
Lingerie Stores are currently the least popular company type to work for, with just 99 people content to make a living selling lacey underwear to women and sexually adventurous men. These 99 employees are spread across 39 Lingerie Stores in total, of which only 14 are active, making this the second-least popular company type to own after Theaters (11 active).

Of the 14 active Lingerie Stores, six of them are ten-star companies, with three rated at nine stars, and one each on eight, seven, four, three, and one-star - the one-star Sleeping Giants firm appears to be inactive. Lingerie stores make roughly $98k per employee and pay out a median of $50,000 each in wages.
For a startup price of $1,750,000, these are considered reasonable numbers - 10-star firms rake in between $4 - 12 million per week - but a 61.7% increase to the Lingerie Store’s profits has nevertheless been applied. More significant changes have been made to the job specials on offer, however, with two of the most prominent perks now combined at a lower level to accommodate a brand new 10-star special. Here are the original specials offered by the Lingerie Store:
1* Lingerie Party - Experience (1)
3* Nine to Five - 100 endurance (10)
5* Concealment - 2 travel capacity (0)
7* Born Free - 50% dexterity when not wearing armor (0)
10* Free as the Wind Blows - 50% speed when not wearing armor (0)
The only special that has been ditched entirely is the 1-star Lingerie Party, as the ability to trade Job Points for experience can already be found at the Theater, Nightclub, Hair Salon, and Clothing Store. The 3-star special, Nine to Five, has been kept but dropped down to the 1-star position, allowing all Lingerie Store employees to boost their Endurance by 100 through the use of 10 job points.
The original 5-star special, Concealment, is now available at 3-star level, meaning that employees at weaker Lingerie firms can now access the +2 travel capacity perk. In the 5-star slot, you’ll now find both of the original 7 and 10-star specials combined as one. Born Free originally provided +50% Dexterity when not wearing armor, with the 10-star special, Free as the Wind Blows, giving an identical boost to speed. Both of these passive bonuses are now unlocked at 5-star Lingerie Stores under the name Born Free - the combined name of Free Blows was sadly rejected.
These changes have allowed two new specials to be slotted in at 7 and 10-star companies. The new 7-star special is called Simp, and it is a passive special which sees all of your property upkeep and staff costs waived due to how good you look in a skimpy twin set. A fully upgraded Private Island with all of the available staff on hand will cost you $352,500 per day, but for those who parade around their home in saucy lingerie, these costs have been mysteriously waived. What a naughty minx you are!

The new 10-star special is even more valuable, with Sex Appeal providing employees with a free Business Class upgrade on every flight. Since BCTs are currently going for roughly $7 million each, a player who flies twice in 24 hours will save $14 million a day from this special. I probably didn’t need to explain what two times 7 is, did I?
A Business Class flight will cut travel time down by 70% on both your outbound and inbound journey, regardless of your destination. Furthermore, Business Class passengers are permitted a base travel capacity of 15 items instead of 5, and when combined with the 3-star special, this means that 10-star employees at a Lingerie firm have a new base travel capacity of 17 items.
This special is passive and does not stack with the Airstrip, it simply keeps the Business Class travel option unlocked as an option on the travel screen. Sex Appeal does stack with some other travel bonuses though, including the books Mailing Yourself Abroad and Smuggling For Beginners.
