Mayne_00 has won July's Economist's Comic Prize, with their graphical interpretation of the Spin the Wheel results impressing Torn's money man the most from this month's published efforts. Lt_Wolf particularly enjoyed Mayne_00's artistic style, with their clean and expressive technique showing precisely the kind of refinement we expect to see in the comics section.
Having received two runner-up prizes already in June, Mayne_00 now takes home a $100 million prize for being the pick of the bunch this month.

Lt_Wolf picked no fewer than six runner-ups for July, each of whom will receive a $10 million prize. His favourite was by Earthfiremonkey, with their entry placed in second, a ranking which has no effect on their prize money - how mean! June's winner and prolific comic creator Slockins101 managed three runner-up spots this month, with Mayne_00 also taking $10 million with an additional entry of his own. The only other artist to place in July was majin-bUU. Here are this month's runner-up entries.

This month's comic submission tips:
- Don't submit a series of coloured panels with text and no drawings. That's not a comic, it's a powerpoint presentation.
- Do feel free to send multiple comics. You might win multiple prizes!
- Don't paste your own speech bubbles onto a comic you've clearly not drawn. I can tell. I have good eyes.
- Do try to reference current events in the game and the forums.
- Don't make your comic too busy and full of messily drawn images.
- Do consider whether your comic makes sense. Half the time I haven't got a f***king clue what you're on about.
- Don't rely entirely on the differences between Torn and real-life for your comic. Everyone does this.
- Do take a look at this month's comics to see what you're up against. As of the 11th of August, pages 1, 2, and 3 were from this month, ending with Khal's comic, The Professional Trader.
