SA and PT Set For Termed War

Top HoF ranked factions in talks to square off against each other in post-Elimination tussle. SA Council member risks early war with rogue movement operation.
Subversive Alliance and PT-Family are close to agreeing conditions for a termed war. Xanty, PT's leader, confirmed this story to the Torn City Times.

"It’s 1v1 PT-Family vs SA main, it’s a termed war so we can measure our faction progress against the former #1 and still #2 HOF. Everyone reckons SA is beastly, so they will a really hard challenge to us."
- Xanty, PT leader.

A war between PT and SA will be highly anticipated by many, including those within the ranks of SA, who will be keen to show that April's defeat to Natural Selection was a mere blip. But this war almost started ahead of schedule last Friday, when Subversive Alliance's Ohadik took matters into his own hands in an attempt to force the issue. An anonymous source contacted the TCT to tell us what happened.

"Apparently, SA had an initial discussion with PT-F about a termed war at some point in the future, although nothing had been decided. Then while Midknight was asleep, Ohadik tries to move the SA faction over to where PT is on the map. He got as far as the DA/Nuke/39th border. There, he tried to get Nuke to let him through like this over to CR's territory."

"He was then told to perform an anatomically difficult maneuver. MK woke up baffled as to what had happened and moved SA back."

Subversive Alliance occupies a block of 17 territories across sectors 4 and 5 in the north-western part of the city. Their prospective opponents, PT-Family, have a strong position over in the east, holding 17 territories to the southeast of the Jail along the border between sectors 2 and 3. If Ohadik had been successful in his attempts to get the war underway early, SA would have still had to contend with the forces of PT-Calculated and PT-Shadowrazers before getting a shot at PT-Family, as they hold the territory between PT-F and the Jail.

But Subversive Alliance never made it that far, as their leader Midknight awoke from his gentle slumber to put an end to Ohadik's shenanigans before he could shoot his load prematurely. PT-Family leader Xanty confirmed this version of events in a brief interview with the Torn City Times, acknowledging that a termed war was on the horizon and that he too noticed that Ohadik had gone rogue.

Hey, yeah we are in conversations to schedule a termed war, and yes that [SA's movements] was a big deal last Friday. Everyone in the neighborhood was like wtf is happening... Thkfully all was solved." -
Xanty

Xanty believes that Ohadik had simply "forgotten" that nothing had been scheduled when he brought SA within striking distance of PT, adding that "idk what happened inside his mind but I'm sure he had the best intentions even if was against whatever SA council decided." SA co-leader Miro has a different explanation for his teammate's shenanigans.

"Ohadik was having a little fun trying to rile some folks up and it seems it worked. He had people on edge and questioning wtf was going on."
- Miro, SA co-leader, and Dirty Bomb owner.

PT certainly did wonder what the hell SA was doing, but Xanty told The Times that PT did not feel the need to prepare for a sneak attack because he believes that "factions have honor on their agreements", and added that since conversations for a termed war were presently ongoing, it would not have made sense for SA to start a full-scale conflict with PT.

If Midknight had not intervened before SA reached their destination, we could potentially have seen a full-blown scrap between Subversive Alliance's network of proxies on one side, and the newly formed CRyPTo alliance between PT and Chain Reaction on the other. Sadly, we'll have to wait for such a spectacle, as the terms of this war will likely result in a straight 1v1 fight between PT-Family and SA main. Xanty says that nothing is set in stone right now regarding this war, but that there is no chance of it taking place before Elimination.

Subversive Alliance's leader Midknight is not speaking to the Torn City Times at present after we published his erotic shadow puppet videos without permission for reasons unknown, so we were unable to get his opinion on how things went down. Ohadik, however, was more forthcoming, and presented this colourful version of events for your consideration:

"Well, I know that Midknight was over at the Hunk Mansion Male Strip Club and I was at the Wishful Thinking Bar & Salon, and you see, the music was just too loud, and I think the payphone had bad reception. Midknight was too busy flinging dollars out like a malfunctioning ATM, and I was half-naked on the floor... I think..."

"That part is a little fuzzy to me. I do vaguely remember something about PT, I think we were supposed to meet up at some point at a park to man hug and grill some burgers, but... I can't remember fully."
- Ohadik
