Find out which artist won $100 million for sending in Lt_Wolf's favourite September comic, and how you can avoid your entry being rejected by following a few simple rules!
Mayne_00 has won the Economist's Comic Prize for September, and in doing so has become the first player to win twice, having taken the top prize in July this year. Mayne's artwork is always impressive, but it was their amusing interpretation of a famous biblical story that impressed us this month.

Artist: Mayne_00
Mayne_00 will receive $100 million courtesy of Lt_Wolf in due course. Having been rather scathing in his description of last month's entries, Torn's economist was much happier with the selection of comics sent in during September.
"Submissions were much better this month, especially artistically! Loved the unique styles."
The Economist has chosen five players to receive a runner-up prize of $10m. Here are his picks for September.

Artist: OutragedPlebian

You still have ten days to get a comic published and become eligible for October's prize, and if you want to see what you're up against, this month's entries cover pages 1-4 of the Comic section. Here are my tips on how to get your comic accepted based on the ones I've recently accepted and rejected.

- Do enter topical comics in good time. If you send me a Halloween comic on the 31st, it might be too late!
- Don't rely on a basic observation to sustain your entry. Try to point out something unique or funny.
- Do make sure that your artwork is as neat and clean as possible.
- Don't try to mimic other people's drawing styles. Create your own.
- Do remember to drop me a message if your comic is rejected. I'm happy to provide feedback on both your design and idea.
- Don't message me asking why I've rejected your comic if you've quite clearly used a comic maker or stolen someone else's artwork. That's just daft.
