Find out who won $500m in our Christmas Crossword, and how you can win considerably less than that by solving this month's puzzle!
Hello and welcome to The Torn City Times Crossword #54, our first of 2022!
We left some of you in a bit of a pickle last year when we let Duke write up the clues for Crossword 53. This made it one of our hardest puzzles yet, but with a Christmas mask and several hundred million dollars on offer to the winners, we think it was more than worth your time. So let's find out who won!
The answer to Crossword 53 was: "If your mama had wheels she'd be a bike." Many got it correct because they can relate to it. The first to show me their correct answer was: Qfiffle. $500 million and a mask goes to our winner, with the cash having been provided by our Christmas sponsor Rab. Thank you, Rab!
Our three random runner-ups are Interrobang, imtired400, NedwardBalton. These players receive $100 million each and a mask. $200 million and a mask will be paid out to Agadon, whose rather underwhelming yet fully solved crossword was named Sales List(Excel Sheet). One can assume it was done during company paid time and he accidentally overwrote a very important sales list.
