Relentless Relents

Dr_Phoenix [1601223] — Read on to hear how the unique tactics and comradery shown by Animal Kingdom helped to upset the odds and inflict an embarrassing defeat upon the mighty Relentless. On November 18, 2019, the sub-faction of Relentless known as Unrelenting crept through the east side territories and settled next to Desert Eagle. Unrelenting had already reassured another neighboring faction, Evolution , that they were just passing back to sector 1; however, what they were actually planning was an assault, one which would spark off the first major resistance against the land-grabbing habits of the Relentless family. Relentless, who seem to be in a state of demoralization due to some of their members being put in federal jail and having large amounts of profit removed, seem to have decided they need to stake their claim as Torn's leading faction to avoid being seen as weak. As the strongest faction in Torn, they seem to believe that they are owed a large percentage of all the...

Thanks to the hard work of organiser Kata, there isn't an hour in the day where at least one trader won't be selling some discounted items - or when Kata's kids aren't going hungry, given how much time she's put into this event. The first traders to take part will be Wood, Phillip_J_Fry , AngeloPH and DrippingBlade , who between them will be selling plushies, flowers, cans, drugs and other items at 00:01am - DrippingBlade also promised to offer further products for $1 every hour...

Dog Tags Winner Reveals His Secret

Penicillin [1517799] — Read on to find out how Penicillin managed to win this year's Dog Tags tournament, and achieve a record score in the process. This wasn’t my first time competing in the Dog Tags tournament. About three or four years ago, I went for the 250 tag merit and was in first place in the overall competition for a while. I stopped when I reached 250 tags because I just wasn’t willing to lose the training time it would take to win. Yet even though I stopped partway through, I still managed to place in the top 25. However, this experience left a bit of a gnawing feeling in the back of my head that maybe I could actually win this competition someday. And this year, I proved myself correct. When this year’s competition started, I wasn’t sure I was going to try for the win. I knew the first day would be really important, so I decided to try hard the first day, then make a decision about the rest of the tournament. It also helped that my faction, Natural Selection, had de...

Where a single developer is individually mentioned, it simply reflects who confirmed the report as fixed or complete, and not that they were solely responsible. Updates, Changes, Removals, and Additions - Added 'Value of received bounties' personal stat. In a suggestion by Amran123, it was proposed that since there was a stat to show how much money had been spent on placing bounties, no such stat existed for those received. Chedburn confirmed that logs existed, going back to December 2015, which could be used to pre-populate such a statistic. At a later date, this was confirmed as having been added. - Added new racing category with 4 stats into personal stats. After a suggestion from Kupe, t...

The Beavers are in Mourning

celticguy [1552484] — Following the tragic news of Princess_Dale's passing, her faction pays tribute to a leader, a legend, a soldier and a friend.. It is not customary for our faction to be open or public about anything. Like the humble beaver, we're a hard-working, small, loyal and feisty faction. We keep our heads down and don't make too many waves. Our faction mantra is " If the Big Boys don't notice us, they'll leave us alone ." The "big boys" are those super strong factions and players who are just impossible to beat. The people who have spent months and years carefully working out the best ways to play. Some of them "gymmed" their way to greatness, others "crimmed" their way to financial power. No matter what route you chose, most of you are way outside of our level. But at the risk of attracting attention, this time, I can't just be quiet. I have to write this to make sure everyone out there knows what has happ...

Tag Competition Hots Up!

sugarvalves [1963573] — First-place lead slashed to just a few hundred points. Participation increases massively on last year. New tagger enters the top ten. For-hire spotter offers tag-hunting services to n00bs. The 2019 Dog Tag competition has turned from a one-horse race into a two-horse affair, as our runaway leader has been pegged back harder than me when I received a kinky strippogram from Chedburn this weekend. Pictured: Perks of the job. Last week's table showed our anonymous leader sat on 17,005 points with a gap of 4,151 separating them from second-place. Their lead has now been slashed to just 595 points, but the top two have streaked ahead of the rest of the pack, as the gap between second and third has dilated faster and harder than Octomom, expanding to a remarkable 10,824 points. Here is the leaderboard for the top ten taggers as it stood at 1pm today. 1st - 29,745 points - 877 tags 2nd - 29,150 points - 1,021 tags 3rd - 18,326 points - 722 tags 4th - 17,825 point...

Ye Olde Torn Cittie

Josephine [1923258] — We all hear stories of what Torn used to be like, but have you ever wanted to see for yourself? Let's take a visual journey down Torn's memory lane, narrated in a tone dangerously close to satire. You wake up in a shack, head pounding as your heartbeat accelerates and adrenaline pumps through your veins. Where are you? Who put you here? As you look in every direction searching for an answer, you find yourself staring at a sepia skyline full of ambiguously shaped buildings. Buildings you will never enter and streets you will never walk through, regardless of how many beat-up people you leave on them. Eight red letters hover in the sky, and all your questions are answered. Welcome to Torn City, circa 2004. "In the very early days, I wasn't really going anywhere [with the original look]. For me, the gameplay was the only priority. It all started with a three-celled table." <table><tr><td>Banner</td></tr><tr...
