Stock Market 3.0 Released!

New honors released. Torn City’s Stock Exchange has finally reopened after its self-imposed shutdown ended today at 2 pm. For 48 hours beginning on Sunday the 4th of April, the viewing, purchasing, selling, and trading of shares was halted, with all stock prices also frozen during this period. The markets were closed to facilitate the introduction of a series of new regulations upon the Stock Market , regulations many are referring to as Stocks 3.0 - because that's its name. NOTE: THIS ARTICLE WAS AN APRIL FOOL'S JOKE YOU GREAT BIG SILLIES Last week’s Patch List was notable for the inclusion of the new Dark Mode feature and the provision of a filterable and greatly expanded activity log. However, one change that was left off the list due to a slight delay in its development was the addition of an IQ score to all players’ personal stats. This is a change that we at Torn City Times have nicknamed Dork Mode. IQ scores were added to Torn’s long list of player metrics with little fanfare late on Wednesday night, and only a handful of players have picked up on this feature since. Those who did notice this new attribute have been wondering precisely what IQ scores do, as well as how they are generated. Let’s find out. Today, Torn City has finally entered the dark age, thanks to the long-awaited release of its new Dark Mode feature. If the blinding light of Torn's regular hue has caused you to suffer from headaches, blurred vision, irritation, and neck spasms, then the introduction of the Dark Mode option means you can no longer hold us legally accountable!
