Slash Wednesday is almost upon us, with citizens set to enjoy 48 hours of reduced hospital times beginning this Tuesday! Slash Wednesday, which runs from 12:00 TCT on the 7th through to the same time on the 9th, sees all hospital times cut by 75% across the board, regardless of what caused you to be there. It doesn't matter whether you've been sliced with a scythe, overdosed on Ketamine, or mauled horribly in the groin by a guard dog, your time in the hospital will be reduced to one-quarter of the usual duration. Each player's API key is unique to them, and they can be used to provide external browser extensions and applications with a limited amount of data regarding your account. Examples of applications that use API keys are TornTools, DoctorN, YATA, Torn Stats, and Torn PDA. Torn's Black Friday event went ahead without any major hiccups last week, with over two hundred sellers turning up alongside Torn's NPCs to sell off items for just $1 each. Of our 239 registered Black Friday vendors, only 22 failed to meet the requirements we asked in return for a Donator Pack. To receive a DP, sellers simply had to sell at least 20 items with a regular total value of $10m to five unique customers. Some of those who failed the task simply forgot to turn up, whereas others didn't sell enough - one player, Killerworm, decided to use his slot to sell lottery vouchers at a $20m price as part of a lottery scam scheme.
