May has been an interesting time in the trading community, with Museum Day, two pawn shop price drops and a bizarrely flat can economy contributing to a sense of confusion among many traders. But here to sail you through the choppy waters of uncertainty is the famous bazaar trader Iribuya, who is the author of this month's Market Report. EVENT CALENDAR Before we begin, I'd like to point out the importance to traders of the newly released Event Calendar , where citizens can see a full list of all the special events in Torn. It can be found on the left side of your standard layout at the bottom of "Areas". You can hover your mouse and see the name of the event and if there are any special effects or perks which come with it. As a trader these events are important because ...

FACTION BIO: JFA

Penicillin [1517799] — With the creation of Natural Selection coming at the expense of one of Torn's most famous factions, former member Penicillin takes a look back at the fascinating history of JFA. It started out as something temporary. A faction created as a home for players too weak to perform in JFK 2.0. But from such inauspicious beginnings came JFA, a mighty faction who, until recently, played a major role in Torn's faction scene. Led by Stretch and Vicarious, JFA fought bravely for Torn United Nations in their epic war against the Insurgency group, and despite their campaign ultimately ending in defeat, this scrap proved an epic way to send off one of the city's toughest factions. In recent weeks JFA has merged with Milk and Cookies to form a new outfit called Natural Selection. But JFA will not be forgotten. And to ensure their legacy is remembered, we present you with the long overdue faction biography of Just Fer A**holes. Pictured: It's clever because th...

Torn's annual Museum Day points boost returns this Friday, with its traditional 10% increase to donation payouts set to apply for twice as long this year, making a complete mockery of the use of the word "day" in the event's title. Pictured: A much better museum. For those of you who are unaware, The Torn City Museum of Stolen Foreign Treasures, to give it its full name, pays out points to those who present them with certain items or sets of items. Players must have completed the History Studies Education Bachelor to gain access to the Museum - because we don't want any riff-raff in there - but once you have done so, a wealth of money-making opportunities awaits those who like to spend their weekends robbing sovereign nations of their distinct cultural heritage. If, for...
