Silver8520 has won August's comic prize after Torn's Economist picked out their entry as the best strip submitted to Torn's comic page last month. Their comic depicts the mad rush players experience when trying to grab the cheap beers offered for sale at Bits and Bobs each day. Artist: Silver8520 Based on the drawing style, Silver8520's comic looks to have been the result of a collaboration with regular contributor Slockins101. Collaborations of this nature are allowed so long as no money, items, or nudes change hands. Silver8520 will receive $100 million for sending in the winning entry. Torn's annual Tourism Day event begins on Sunday at noon, with the temporary doubling of item travel capacities set to trigger a mass departure from the city as players of all levels fly out in an attempt to secure a haul of cheap s**te. Read on to find out everything you need to know about Tourism Day 2021. When It Counts Tourism Day officially runs from 12:00 TCT on the 26th until the same time on the 28th. Now obviously, it is only your return flight that matters here, since that's when you'll be returning with a huge-ass haul of foreign goods.
