All weapons have a Damage rating, and this rating plays a part in determining how effective your attack will be versus your opponent. All of the weapons in Torn City have now had their Damage rating amended to conform to a new standard. Before we tell you what that means, let's see which weapons have been affected the most. Melee weapons appear to be the most affected, with Tasers hit hardest having lost 78.07% of their damage multiplier. Last month Chedburn teased one of the most anticipated updates in Torn history when he made a public request for volunteers ahead of the Ranked Warring testing phase. We can now confirm that the first test fight under the new system will take place between Natural Selection II and Destructive Anomaly, with the exact date set to be decided by the factions themselves. What is Ranked Warring? Ranked Warring, which has been disabled since 2017, is a system whereby factions square off against one another in a 1v1 fight. These battles work like a tug of war, with both factions battling to become the first to reach the required score, thus earning themselves unique benefits including items, respect, and an improved faction status.
