Updates, Changes, and Additions - Implemented new territory connections algorithm for better quality automated links Kopites has developed a new algorithm for detecting so-called "connections" between territories. Torn's History Exposed!

sugarvalves [1963573] — Break-in forces Chronicle Archives to open early. Secrets of Torn City revealed for first time. Blackmailer Jimmy "Two-Shins" wanted, remains at large. Suspect seen carrying a "serrated blade". The secret history of Torn City is to be revealed publicly for the first time today after the Chronicle Archive was forced into opening up its extensive collection of city records. This release was moved forward ahead of schedule after a break-in at the Chronicle Archive last night, with local extortionist Jimmy “Two-Shins” reported to have tried and failed to blackmail the authorities into paying him to suppress the records. Torn’s history is shrouded in mystery, with its origins and that of its cultures and customs unknown even to those who live here. A set of City Chronicles was written back in the early 2000s by an unknown group of writers, but their account was later proven fraudulent, with much of Torn’s supposed lore found to have been lift...

Dear Aunty Torn

sugarvalves [1963573] — How can you buy an Audi S3, why are you overdosing all the time, and what makes a good faction member? Find out the answers to all these and more in our latest Aunty Torn column. Guess who isn't dead! That's right, Aunty Torn has survived the current plague and is positively foaming at the prospect of answering more of your questions and queries. This month's entries are a little longer than usual, which Aunty attributes to everyone being locked up inside with nobody to talk to. FYI, this is something your grandparents have dealt with for years, you selfish bunch of b***ards. Drugsovahugs I've been racing in C Class for quite a bit now and when I go to the enlist car section there is an option at the bottom which allows you to enlist cars purchased from the docks. One of these cars is an Audi S3 but you come to find it's never available at the Docks and it's never for sale on item Market I asked around and heard tons of stories from th...

Market Report April

sugarvalves [1963573] — Find out how Museum Day will affect you, which drugs are falling in price, and why certain weapons are now more valuable thanks to the most recent Patch List. MUSEUM DAY Museum Day runs from noon on the 17th until noon on the 19th of May, during which the Museum will payout 10% more points for all items and item sets. This event affects the market in a number of ways, with the most profound changes often seen in the price of points. Pictured: Three-year points price graph. With more points available on the market, a price drop in the immediate aftermath of Museum Day is inevitable, but we sometimes see a rise before the event as players hold on to point generating items in anticipation of the forthcoming bonus. The first Museum Day in 2018 caused only a small rise and drop as it was a one-day event. However, when Museum Day was expanded to 48 hours in 2019, the pre-event rise was absorbed by a five-month decline in overall point prices, although a temporary e...

This week's crossword is a beautiful pink and blue colored one, and it's also contained within an equal-sided 17 x 17 square. That's quite satisfying, isn't it? The crossword contains many words, but it also contains s...

sugarvalves [1963573] — Find out how which one-day war cost $10 billion, who is forming a secret army, which player beat the killstreak record, and who is causing trouble inside Subersive Alliance - as if it's not obvious. Many interesting stories have passed by my desk since the last Local News was released. So if you've got some time to kill (and haven't we all right now) and you'd like to know what's been going on in Torn City of late, take look at our round-up of recent Local News. ANIMAL KINGDOM BEARS ITS TEETH In our most recent article, the Torn City Times suggested that Animal Kingdom must have known about the extortion habits of HT, their now former allies, given that everyone else in Torn appeared to do so. As a result, we made the provocative suggestion that they may have known he was going to attack Nuke too, but kept schtum. We truly are total edgelords. AK denies all of this, and after reading our article, several of their members began to growl, sq...
