Cull Approved in Torn City

sugarvalves [1963573] — World Population Day event altered to promote aggression in Torn. Citizens expected to "have a f***ing good tear-up" from Wednesday until Friday. The Torn City authorities have this week approved the mass slaughter of Torn’s citizens in an attempt to curb the city’s rapidly growing population, with special bonuses on offer for those who brutalise, mince or pulp their fellow Tornians into hot man-custard. Pictured: Have at it, folks. Torn’s population has grown massively in recent years, and on May 3rd of this year, the city’s total number of active citizens topped 30,000 for the first time in almost a decade - the last occasion this happened was in September 2010. But while Torn’s burgeoning populace was a cause for celebration last year, mass migration to our fair city has taken its toll, with everyone sick and tired of low item supplies, competition for wages and the gross indignity of having to queue for things. As a result, the Torn City authori...

Faction Focus: Evolution

Frinzell [1776252] — In this week's edition of Faction Focus, we take a look at a young faction who are gaining a reputation for training crack squads of political assassins. The Organised Crime (OC) Political Assassination (PA) is the pinnacle of criminal achievement for any faction. If you can form a team of four outstanding criminals, successful PA's can earn your faction up to $300,000,000 and 300 respect in just over a week. And in addition to a share of the proceeds, the criminals involved also gain valuable crime experience (CE); this CE gain is the highest skill gain presently possible in Torn. Every faction would like to be able to perform this crime successfully on a regular basis, but few manage to do so, and those who do are often older and quite experienced. In Evolution, we are now able to perform 10 or more successful Political Assassinations per week just one year after our formation. In this faction focus article, I, Frinzell, will tell you how we achieved t...
